A Memorable Dinner
I’m very very happy and touched by what happened today. After one month, i finally got to taste indian food!!!!!!! It was Radhiga, 2nd year, who cooked for us. She cooked for me, Sayleni and Dev. She made chappati, tomato chutney, palak pannir( cheese with spinach) and fried potatoes.. The food was sumptious… i really felt that i’m in Malaysia. Radhiga is so kind and very nice.. i dont know what to say. She even advised us on certain things that is very very important in Volgograd.
She is a very smart and brilliant girl.. she got all A’s or 5(PYAT) for all the subjects.. i’m very sure that she really worked hard for it… and only today i know that Dev also had all A’s so far!! Really salute you guys.. however radhiga said that it doesnt mean that if you get 5, you are the best. Instead, there are many students who really deserve excellent grades but they don’t get it.. well, i dunno why but today i obtained a new semangat or spirit to study and work very hard.. I did give some of my Diwali kuih-muih to radhiga as well…
We had lots of fun during the dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food was fantastic. what can i say? the seniors here are really really nice. Thanks once again. Actually, I’m fasting for 6 days now.. i’m just following my malay classmates as they have to do the puasa enam. well.. i really felt bad if i eat in front of them during the class..so might as well i also fast.. and after the second day today, i really feel that fasting is indeed a noble thing and you really feel the contentment while you are fasting.. another plus point is that.. at least for the 6 days, I can save a lot!! i really spent a lot here during the entire one month.. haha… but no regrets!!!!
I must study my chemistry now.. and i’m seriously tired( uzstal in russian)… so that’s all for today..bye friends.. have a great time there!
